About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SEMH teacher to join our team at Future Education. As a specialist SEMH teacher, you will work with pupils who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including those with Autism and challenging behaviours.

The role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, planning engaging and differentiated lessons, and fostering a positive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional well-being of all students.

You will also be responsible for managing challenging behaviours using effective strategies, assessing student progress, and providing regular feedback to parents and other stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working in a PRU or alternative provision setting
  • Proven track record of working with pupils with SEMH and Autism
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The salary for this position is between £40,609 and £60,092 per annum, depending on experience.
