SEN/SEMH Needs Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team at a fantastic Secondary School in Ealing. As an Unqualified Mental Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and SEMH requirements.
About the RoleIn this position, you will collaborate with the school's team of teachers, teaching assistants, and SENCO to provide targeted interventions and support for students with diverse needs.
You will work closely with class teachers to develop and deliver tailored educational programs, focusing on core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
Responsibilities- Providing support to pupils with SEN/SEMH needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with class teachers to plan and deliver lessons
- Liaising with the SENCO to ensure effective student support
- Leading small group interventions to target pupil progress
A graduate degree and experience working with children and SEN/SEMH needs are essential for this role. A good understanding of the current curriculum and a passion for working with young people are also required.
What We OfferThis is a long-term, full-time position with a competitive salary range of £105-£110 per day. The role is term-time only, with an ASAP start date.
