Transport Planner Role

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing transport infrastructure and supporting road network analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing transport infrastructure designs in accordance with industry standards.
  • Undertaking and overseeing road network analysis using tools such as Junctions 9, LINSIG, and TRANSYT.
  • Preparing technical reports, including Transportation Assessments, Access Appraisals, and Travel Plans.
  • Supporting sustainable and active transport planning initiatives.
  • Contributing to feasibility studies and development planning projects.

Requirements:

  • A degree in either Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Town Planning, Geography, or maths.
  • Expertise in development planning, traffic engineering, and road network analysis tools (Junctions 9, LinSig, TANSYT).
