About the Role
Penguin Recruitment is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join a dynamic Transport and Engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, from small access assessments to large-scale strategic development sites, across transport infrastructure design, traffic engineering, development planning, and sustainable transport solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing transport infrastructure designs in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conducting and overseeing road network analysis using tools such as Junctions 9, LINSIG, and TRANSYT.
- Preparing technical reports, including Transportation Assessments, Access Appraisals, and Travel Plans.
- Supporting sustainable and active transport planning initiatives, promoting environmentally friendly solutions.
- Contributing to feasibility studies and development planning projects, providing expert advice on transport-related matters.
