Social Emotional Learning Support

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to develop social-emotional skills and improve their mental health?

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic individual to join our team as a Social Emotional Learning Support Specialist in a specialist provision in Oxford.

This SEN school provides a nurturing environment for students with diagnosed social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as Autism and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement programmes to support students' social-emotional learning, promoting positive relationships and self-awareness.
  2. Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver therapeutic methods and strategies.
  4. Contribute to improving attendance and behaviour within the school.

This role offers valuable experience for those considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Probation, and Occupational Therapy.

The ideal candidate will be determined, resilient, and passionate about mental health and behaviour. Previous experience working with children or managing challenging behaviour is beneficial.
