Job Title: Import Export Logistics Team Leader

May & Stephens is seeking an experienced Import Export Logistics Team Leader to lead our Distribution team in our modern Essex warehouse and office.

About the Role:

  • Control inward IPR shipments, ensuring correct customs procedures are used and goods are received and quality checked.
  • Mentor, guide, and oversee the distribution team to ensure orders are delivered to a high standard, safely and on time.
  • Perform day-end reports to all relevant staff on goods in and goods out, and ensure stock items are protected and stored appropriately.
  • Provide accurate and timely delivery quotes to the sales team, identifying different options and costs, including allowances for duties and taxes.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of logistics, customs, imports, and exports.
  • Ability to develop and mentor a distribution team.
  • Full, clean driving license is an essential requirement.
