Contract Wordings Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Contract Wordings Analyst to join our team at High Finance (UK) Limited T/A HFG. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with underwriters to address coverage and regulatory issues during the risk placement process.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with underwriters to provide expert guidance on contractual matters, ensuring seamless risk placement processes.
- Wording Resources: Develop and maintain our internal wording resources and databases, ensuring they are up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Training and Development: Enhance the technical expertise of our underwriters through training and development programs, focusing on contractual matters.
- Contract Enforcement: Ensure our underwriting standards and controls are enforced when finalizing contracts, maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Market Representation: Represent High Finance (UK) Limited T/A HFG in the market, offering solutions for new risks and legal developments.
- International Portfolio: Work closely with colleagues in Europe and the USA to manage a diverse international portfolio, ensuring a varied and challenging workload.
- Lloyd's Market Experience: Possess experience in the Lloyd's market, including exposure to either Open Market or DA business.
- Contract Drafting: Have experience in drafting contracts with a keen eye for detail.
- Insurance Products: Demonstrate a deep understanding of insurance products and their value to customers from a commercial perspective.
- Coverage Decisions: Confidently make coverage decisions, articulate the reasoning behind them, and assess the significance of technical details.
- Technical Skills: Possess proficiency in advanced MS Word and document formatting.
- Teamwork: Ability to excel both independently and as part of a team.
