Commercial Development Manager

At Ventula Consulting, we are looking for a skilled Commercial Development Manager to drive revenue growth in the Humber region. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the maritime infrastructure services industry.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Identifying and targeting profitable new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Developing and implementing strategies to convert new business opportunities into sales.
• Collaborating with the Head of Commercial & Sales to negotiate commercial agreements and manage customer accounts.
• Supporting regional marketing material, website content, and social media activity to promote our services and build brand awareness.
• Liaising with other ports and Head Office on commercial matters affecting both parties.
• Identifying UK and European Grants eligible for the Company.
• Reviewing existing commercial agreements and performance pricing.
To succeed in this role, you will require strong commercial background, experience of port operations and related sectors, understanding of third-party agreements and contracts, market and competitor analysis experience, pricing model and charging arrangement development experience, business revenue and profitability growth experience, customer services excellence, practical problem-solving skills, commercial agreement and contract structure knowledge, numeracy and financial awareness, teamwork and collaboration skills, motivation and positive attitude, authority assertion and deadline management, interpersonal skills and relationship building, and relevant degree qualification.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the UK's top maritime infrastructure providers, offering career development and a salary of circa £80,000 + Bonus + exceptional package. The role requires 2/3 days a week in the Hull office with the rest remote.
