Job Title: Trade Counter Business Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Counter Business Manager to join our team at Sikla UK & Ireland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our trade counter in Milton Keynes, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating the setup and organization of the new trade counter
  • Establishing required resources and investments to make qualified proposals to management
  • Understanding customers' requirements and providing internal feedback about replenishment needs
  • Providing customer service and expert advice on products and services
  • Processing orders, collecting payments, and processing sales documentation and cash reconciliations
  • Implementing stock control measures
  • Communicating internal replenishment needs and customer feedback to support decision-making on new products
  • Organizing stock displays and ensuring products are well-presented
  • Working closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote the new trade counter and drive customer engagement
  • Actively participating in sales promotions, events, and initiatives to attract new customers and generate business growth
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a retail or retail environment, within the piping and fittings industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ERP software applications
  • Clear understanding of how to develop and deliver commercial concepts
  • Strong sales and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with customer focus
  • Knowledge of piping systems, fittings, and related products
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
