Spa Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Manager to join our team at The Greenway Hotel & Spa, Cheltenham. As a Spa Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our luxurious spa, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the reception desk, diary management, and general spa operations
  • Lead a team of therapists, receptionists, and general assistants
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Manage budgets, stock control, and financial reporting
  • Contribute to the development of the spa team, encouraging personal progression and training opportunities
Requirements:
  • Progressed from a therapist background into a spa management role within a luxury spa or hotel
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to maximize revenues through diary management and therapist utilization
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills to nurture, develop, and inspire staff
  • Previous experience in training and developing staff, with a passion for apprenticeships and continuous learning
  • Ability to work regular weekends during peak trading periods
