Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialty Doctor to join our Older Adult Psychiatry Team in Salford, working closely with the community mental health team to provide high-quality care to patients.

Main Duties of the Job

• The post holder will work as part of the clinical team supporting North Salford, based in Swinton, and will be supervised by Dr M Javeed.

• The post holder will liaise with other medical colleagues in the Salford area and support the community team with clinical activities, including meetings, CPAs, professionals' meetings, and Mental Health Act-related activities.

• The post holder will review patients presenting to MATs clinics and complete home visits for MATS and CMHT patients.

• The post holder will be expected to diagnose and formulate management plans with supervision as required.

• The post holder will be expected to be a Section 12 Approved Clinician. We will support the post holder to obtain S12 or AC approval if required.
