Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialty Doctor to join our Older Adult Psychiatry Team in Salford, working closely with the community mental health team to provide high-quality care to patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering the North Cluster within Salford, working predominantly in Swinton and liaising with other medical colleagues in the Salford area.

Main Duties

  • Review patients presenting to MATs clinics and complete home visits for MATS and CMHT patients.
  • Diagnose and formulate management plans with supervision as required.
  • Be a Section 12 Approved clinician and work in partnership with local GP and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assess and manage risk, including vulnerability, suicide risk, risks to health and safety, and risk of harm to others.
