About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialty Doctor to join our esteemed Older Adult Psychiatry Team in Salford. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older adults within our community.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients within the North Cluster of Salford, encompassing Walkden, Little Hulton, and Worsley.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including medical colleagues, GPs, and external partners, to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, formulate management plans, and provide ongoing support to patients experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Participate in meetings, CPAs, and other Mental Health Act-related activities as required.
  • Maintain professional accountability to your clinical supervisor and the Lead Consultant, Dr. M Javeed, while operating under the guidance of Mr. James Logue, Head of Operations.
