Health and Wellbeing Manager

Winchester College is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Health and Wellbeing team as the school prepares to welcome Sixth Form girl boarders. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Health and Wellbeing Centre, working closely with the Deputy Head Pastoral and the Lead Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with pupils, pastoral staff, chaplains, safeguarding team, boarding staff, and senior management team
  • Collaborate with external partners, including parents, guardians, professional bodies, and statutory agencies
  • Develop and implement health and wellbeing strategies to support the school community
  • Manage the Health and Wellbeing Centre, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students
Requirements
  • Experience in a health and wellbeing leadership role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and external partners
  • Knowledge of health and wellbeing policies and procedures

Disclosure Check

As Winchester College is an educational establishment, a condition of employment will be that the successful candidate must consent to the school obtaining an Enhanced Level Disclosure Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
