About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Ocorian as a Portfolio Assistant. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance in the day-to-day administration of a varied portfolio of Employee Benefit Trust (EBT) structures.

Your primary objective will be to maintain and develop a wide knowledge and understanding of employee share plan administration, including anti-money laundering, compliance, and relevant legislation. You will work closely with our Senior Client Manager and Associate Director to achieve your objectives and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with day-to-day administration tasks associated with a portfolio of clients and assist other team members as required.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of trust and share plan administration, as well as the main identifying features of EBT work.
  • Manage workload and client priorities, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Develop business-like relationships with intermediaries and clients, demonstrating a willingness to apply high standards of client care.
  • Ensure the achievement of a minimum of 25 hours per year of relevant Continued Professional Development (CPD).
Requirements
  • Educated to A level or degree standard.
  • Willingness to work towards a professional qualification.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken English).
  • Diligence and care in all aspects of the job.
