Plant Engineer Job Description

Path Recruitment is seeking a skilled Plant Engineer to join their team. As a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of the company's fleet of plant equipment, including mechanical plant equipment ranging from Telehandlers to Dumpers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs on Plant equipment.
  • Complete a range of servicing on dumpers, diggers, excavators, etc.
  • Inspect and test plant equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain and repair plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a workshop plant fitter, workshop plant engineer, plant engineer, tool fitter, test and run fitter, plant mechanic, or have an engineering background with transferrable skills.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical plant equipment and its maintenance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
