Plant Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a key member of our busy depot, you will play a vital role in the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of our company fleet of plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Complete a range of servicing tasks on dumpers, diggers, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
  • Work closely with our team to identify and implement process improvements and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a workshop plant fitter, workshop plant engineer, plant engineer, tool fitter, test and run fitter, plant mechanic, or in a related engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical plant equipment and ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
