Plant Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Plant Engineer, you will play a vital role in the success of our busy depot, responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of our company fleet of plant, including mechanical equipment ranging from Telehandlers to Dumpers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs on Plant equipment.
  • Complete a range of servicing on dumpers, diggers, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
  • Work closely with the workshop team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a workshop plant fitter, workshop plant engineer, plant engineer, tool fitter, test and run fitter, plant mechanic, or have an engineering background with transferrable skills.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical plant equipment and ability to carry out repairs and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
