Plant Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Plant Engineer, you will play a vital role in the success of our busy depot, responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of our company fleet of plant, including mechanical plant equipment ranging from Telehandlers to Dumpers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs on Plant equipment.
  • Complete a range of servicing on dumpers, diggers, excavators, etc.
  • Inspect and test plant equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the depot.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a workshop plant fitter, workshop plant engineer, plant engineer, tool fitter, test and run fitter, plant mechanic, or have an engineering background with transferrable skills.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical plant equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
