Principal Parking Consultant

Marston Holdings, a leading design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Parking Consultant to join our Parking and Traffic team based in London. As a key member of our team, you will work on major prestigious projects within London and across the UK, driving your career forward while enjoying the freedom to achieve personal growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective management of direct reports, including performance reviews, and serve as the technical lead on multiple projects.
  • Assume responsibility for financial control, quality, and technical input for all assigned projects.
  • Develop new initiatives and pursue opportunities through business development activities, enhancing personal and company profiles.
Requirements:
  • Relevant 1st Degree or equivalent.
  • Membership of a professional institution (e.g., MICE or MCIHT) or aiming towards this status.
  • Comprehensive understanding of parking schemes and associated regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of traffic and transportation techniques, highway design, and transport planning principles.
  • Sound computer literacy, including knowledge of using spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Preferably conversant with and/or intermediate user of CAD design software.
  • Good understanding of traffic and highway legislation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technical/industry/TfL standards.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Experience and ability working on or managing multi-task projects.
