SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to young students with additional learning needs in our inclusive primary school in Chelmsford.
This full-time, permanent role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a positive, supportive classroom environment where every child can flourish.
- Permanent, full-time position in a nurturing primary school dedicated to inclusion and student-centered learning
- Collaborate closely with experienced SEN staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans for each student, providing both one-on-one and small group support as needed
- Create a positive learning atmosphere that fosters engagement, growth, and confidence-building for students with a range of learning needs
- Work with teachers to adapt lessons and classroom materials, ensuring accessibility and meaningful participation for every student
- Provide consistent encouragement and assistance to help students reach developmental and academic milestones, while promoting a safe, supportive environment in which they can thrive
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills in SEN support and contribute effectively to the school's inclusive ethos
