Freelance Interpreter Required for Cambridge Area

We are seeking a skilled interpreter to join our team of freelance linguists. As a Language Empire interpreter, you will work with clients across various sectors, including healthcare, local government, and the police.
Your role will involve interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting for clients in a variety of settings, including face-to-face, telephone, and video conferencing
- Providing accurate and confidential interpreting services
- Liaising between service users and providers to ensure effective communication
- Working with highly confidential information
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:
- Fluent English language skills
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of public service interpreting principles and practices
