Support Specialist for Special Needs Education

We are seeking dedicated individuals to work as Teaching Assistants in a Special Needs school in Redruth. The school caters for children with diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other conditions.
This role involves supporting students along their educational journey, creating personalized support plans, and working closely with educators, therapists, and families.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience or good transferable skills, such as support or care work. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are also beneficial.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students with their academic and personal development
- Developing individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborating with educators and therapists to ensure effective support
- Maintaining a positive learning environment that promotes social and communication skills
The salary for this position is £83.33 per day, with flexible scheduling options available. This includes part-time or full-time roles, as well as short-term supply positions.
