Electrical Site Manager Job Description

Sustainable Talent is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for delivering all site-based construction elements associated with multi-discipline projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with stakeholders to manage construction activities, including programme progression, risk assessments, and method statements.
  2. Hold Competent Person status and administer the Electrical Safety Rules, ensuring safety processes are upheld onsite.
  3. Liaise with Client Operations Teams throughout the construction phase.
  4. Receive, manage, and issue drawings for construction at site level, checking construction meets design requirements.
  5. Work with Team Leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery on site.
  6. Oversee, coordinate, and manage all completions.
  7. Manage sub-contractor onsite activities.
  8. Manage internal direct reports for the Construction team.
  9. Provide input into design reviews as required.
  10. Plan provision of documentation, resources, tools, materials, consumables, H&S equipment, and transport for safe and efficient construction.
  11. Manage and coordinate site Acceptance Testing as required.
  12. Deliver 'As-Built' documentation throughout onsite construction and commissioning phases.
  13. Complete site audits and inspections, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
Essential Competencies:
  1. Team player with knowledge of safe systems of work and a recognised industrial/commercial electrical Modern Apprenticeship or degree-level qualification.
  2. Experience of industrial electrical containment construction to current electrical regulation.
  3. SMSTS Certified.
