Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Brush Transformers. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for delivering electrical construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Manage all construction activities, including progressing of programmes, risk assessments, and method statements, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Electrical Safety: Hold Competent Person status (CP) and administer the Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) to ensure safety processes are upheld on-site.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with Client Operations Teams throughout the construction phase to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Documentation Management: Receive, manage, and issue drawings for construction at site level, checking construction meets the requirements of design.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Manage sub-contractor onsite activities to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Team Management: Manage internal direct reports for the Construction team to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Planning and Coordination: Plan in advance the provision of all documentation, resources, tools, materials, consumables, H&S equipment, and transport to ensure safe and efficient construction.
  • Site Acceptance Testing: Manage and coordinate site Acceptance Testing as required.
  • As-Built Documentation: Manage the delivery of all 'As-Built' documentation throughout the onsite construction and commissioning phases.
  • Quality Assurance: Complete site audits and inspections when required, ensuring the highest standard of quality is maintained.

Requirements:

  • Team Player: A team player with knowledge of safe systems of work and experience in industrial electrical containment construction to current electrical regulation SMSTS Certified.
  • Experience: Experience working in HV outdoor compound substation environment, up to 33kV, and NEBOSH, full first aid at work.
  • Travel: Comfortable with overnight stay/travel up to and over 2 hours.
