Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Brush Transformers. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of electrical power distribution projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Identify and procure materials, equipment, and labor required for projects, and manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and other vendors.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet or exceed customer expectations, and identify and mitigate project risks, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure that project requirements are met and address any issues raised.
  • Financial Management: Manage project financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Team Management: Manage the project team, including assigning tasks and responsibilities, providing guidance and direction, and evaluating performance.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: HNC, Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, and significant experience in managing electrical power distribution projects.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, and excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to forward plan.
  • Knowledge and Experience: In-depth knowledge of HV/LV cable laying, switchgear installation, cable jointing, and commissioning, and strong understanding of commercial terms and conditions and the impact it will have on project delivery.
