Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at KUS Power Engineering, a leading design and build electrical contractor. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of electrical power distribution projects from 11kV to 275kV.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including Health and Safety regulations.
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage project quality, ensuring projects meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and direction.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • HNC, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in project management or an electrical-related discipline.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Project management certification, such as APMP from APM.
  • Significant experience in managing electrical power distribution projects, particularly in the energy or utility industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management skills with a strong ability to forward plan.
