About Us

The Hospital of St Cross, Winchester has a rich history dating back over 900 years. Our charity provides a residence for up to 25 elderly men and their consorts, as well as managing the landscape, historic buildings, and chapel in our ownership.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is passionate about our mission and values. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare or social care and be able to bring a unique perspective to our board.

Responsibilities
  • Attend four Trustees' meetings annually
  • Participate in committee meetings and away-day events
  • Review and approve financial statements
Requirements

The successful candidate will need to be willing to commit time and effort to this role. They should have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and be committed to our values of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
