Our client, a leading provider in Facilities Management, is seeking a skilled Multiskilled Engineer to join their team in Rugby. This role will support the EDF contract, focusing on the mechanical services of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
  • Ensure all work requests are carried out within SLA.
  • Work closely with manager, supervisor, peers.
  • Ability to carry out fault diagnosis on mechanical equipment.
  • Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems and LOTO.
  • Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are adhered to for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
  • Support Manager and Supervisor to ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
  • Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures, and working arrangements, as required.
  • Ensure logbooks, shift hand-over, and the client's reporting is updated regularly and accurately.
  • Identify and report potential hazards.
  • Participate in on-call rota.

Person Specification:

  • Mechanical Qualification/Certification from a known institution.
  • Comprehensive mechanical experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Experience in multi-skilled disciplines (mechanical, fabric, water hygiene, painting, and carpentry).
  • Ability to demonstrate a good use of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
