Electrical and Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems on site, providing expert fault finding and advice to customers, and ensuring the overall quality and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain electrical systems on site, including fault finding and repair
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to customers and colleagues
  • Understand and maintain plumbing systems, including replacement of taps, sinks, and heating elements
  • Conduct general building fabric repairs to maintain the standard of our facilities
  • Supply technical knowledge and expertise in a range of situations, making personal judgments on how to achieve quality, cost, and time objectives
  • Deliver corrective and planned maintenance to meet performance measures
  • Liaise with customers' representatives to ensure customer requirements are met
Requirements:
  • Hold an electrical certification, such as the 18th Edition
  • Have experience in facilities maintenance
  • Skills in dock/doors, plumbing, air conditioning, air handling, gas appliances, and lifts are preferred but not essential
  • Certification in IPAF and MEWP is desirable but not essential
  • Full UK driver's license preferred but not essential
