This role offers a unique opportunity to provide clinical leadership in the Fertility Department at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing patient care, coordinating rotas and clinics, managing a team of nurses, coaching junior staff, and supporting service redesign.

We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking individual who is passionate about delivering excellent standards of clinical care and patient experience.

About the Role

The post holder will have a leading role in developing services and will need to demonstrate the ability to embrace and implement change.

The ideal candidate will have specialist knowledge across a range of procedures in fertility, underpinned by theory, and experience of generating staff rotas.

Responsibilities

  • To function at an experienced nurse level, making effective decisions autonomously and in partnership with patients, families, and the multi-disciplinary team.
  • To assist with the clinical management of the department, maintaining high standards of nursing practice and promoting patient and family-centered care.
  • To support the department manager in undertaking personal development reviews, risk assessments, and management, managing clinical incidents, department audits, data collection, and the use of Power BI.
  • To identify and monitor care priorities, organize workload for Fertility patients, and deliver skilled, high-quality, expert, and evidence-based Fertility nursing care to all patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Fertility experience and specialist knowledge across a range of procedures in fertility, underpinned by theory.
  • Experience of generating staff rotas and managing a team of nurses.
  • Able to make effective decisions autonomously and in partnership with patients, families, and the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Awareness of regulatory bodies and requirements, including CCGs, NHSLA, CQC, and NMC.

Benefits

The salary for this role is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The trust also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
