About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant Manager to join our team at Avery Healthcare Group. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Job Summary: As a Personal Care Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect for individuals at all times.
  • Recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections, and escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
  • Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.

Requirements:

  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrating initiative and being respectful towards residents and other people in the home.
  • Being an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Being able to adapt and be flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
