Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Water Network Specialist to join our RISC team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical activities related to proactive works on the wastewater network across the Anglian Water region.

The role involves:

  • Clearing blockages in transferred and public sewers
  • Carrying out serviceability and structural investigations using CCTV equipment
  • Recommending and installing level monitors in manholes
  • Identifying and suggesting repairs in line with project objectives
  • Engaging with customers on public and private properties
  • Reporting via various digital platforms, including the Network Intelligence tool.

The primary objective is to minimize disruption to local residents and meet contract KPIs, as well as meeting client-specific requirements. This includes compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Fleet policies, procedures, and standards.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A valid CSCS card or equivalent qualification
  • A National Water Hygiene card
  • Confined Space certification
  • A NRSWA qualification and Manual Handling training
  • Experience in the water and waste industry (highly desirable)
  • A full UK driver's licence, basic IT skills, and the ability to work independently using your initiative

You will also possess excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
