Job Overview

Kelwel Care is a leading provider of residential care services for young people with emotional and behavioral disorders. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Residential Support Mentor to join our team and play a pivotal role in enriching the lives of our residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building positive relationships with residents, acting as a role model, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans.

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including a company pension scheme, discounted food, and free parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve resident-centered outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in youth work, social care, or a related field.
  • Valid UK driver's license and Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts and weekends.
