About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse/Paramedic to join our team as a Bank Custody Nurse/Paramedic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in custody.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals in custody, ensuring their fitness for detention, interview, release, or transfer.
  • Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illnesses or injuries, taking appropriate actions and referring onwards for more serious conditions.
  • Conduct forensic examinations of individuals in police care, recording and documenting injuries and collecting DNA evidence as required.
  • Support the clinical governance agenda of the organization, ensuring the highest clinical and quality standards are maintained.
  • Administer medications through Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and Patient Treatment Protocols (PTPs).
