Marine Associate Director

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Marine Associate Director to lead and input to our growing portfolio of high-profile marine projects. As a key member of our Environmental Impact (EIA) team, you'll work daily with technical experts, including our in-house marine ecology team, to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary environmental inputs across a diverse range of marine projects
  • Manage the preparation of EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting assessments and documents
  • Ensure quality deliverables are produced to the highest standards and compliance with our rigorous quality management procedures
  • Make effective use of project management skills, including programming, staff resource, and budget management
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to improve environmental outcomes
  • Manage client relationships and internal teams
Requirements
  • A detailed understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes around the UK and ideally Ireland
  • Project management skills, including programming, staff resource, and budget management
  • A commitment to innovation and continuing professional development
  • Interest in line management duties and staff mentoring
  • Developing skills in leading business development opportunities
  • Efficient verbal and report writing skills, including technical reviewing, and confidence when engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups
