About the Role

As a Technical Director, you'll lead our growing team and be responsible for continued growth and delivery of existing and new projects in the offshore wind and marine renewables sector. You'll direct the day-to-day project manager for marine projects, play an instrumental role in helping to seek out and secure new commissions, and be actively engaged in client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multidisciplinary consenting inputs across a wide range of projects, supporting projects to gain consent.
  • Direct the preparation of reports such as environmental assessments and other reports required to support marine consents.
  • Collaborate with our engineering teams to deliver a sector approach to business development and project delivery.
  • Grow the marine sector, resulting in increased market share.
Requirements
  • An excellent understanding of the consenting and licensing regimes and processes, with a technical background in either environmental assessment, planning, stakeholder engagement or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and report writing skills, including technical reviewing.
  • Project management skills, including programming, staff resource management and budget management.
