Job Title: Project Manager Nuclear Marine Works

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Coyle Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the integration of shaft liner secondary lining into the fabrication programme for the liner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Construction Director (Marine) to coordinate the integration of shaft liner secondary lining into the liner fabrication programme.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high levels of engineering control and appropriate records are maintained during the construction, with emphasis on defect avoidance and zero defects at completion to ensure Nuclear Safety.
  • Report progress and performance of the integration activities in regular management team meetings.
  • Review contractual and technical information and ensure that any ambiguities or shortcomings are identified and resolved.
  • Support the team to develop construction methodology, SSHEQ procedures, RAMS, ITP's, and programmes.
  • Obtain suitable resources (Labour, Subcontractors, Plant and Materials) to execute the work in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with all relevant SSHEQ, contractual and programme requirements.
  • Identify any problem areas, agreeing corrective actions with relevant stakeholders and the Construction Director (Marine). Ensure their implementation.
  • Ensure that complete and accurate records of the Works are kept.
  • Develop programmes and forecast budgets, assess actual programme and productivity achieved and review weekly, acting where appropriate and reporting any changes.
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to promote effective teamwork and coordination.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports as requested by senior management.
  • Comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company and the Client.
Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management qualification to ONC/HNC/Degree level and have at least 10 years relevant professional experience.
  • Must hold a valid suitable grade of CSCS card.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body is ideal but not essential.
  • Managerially and technically proficient with a good understanding of other engineering disciplines and have the professional credibility to engage and inspire others.
  • The individual should have a desire to continuously pursue innovation and development.
