Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Budget Specialist to join our team at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in shaping and coordinating detailed revenue and capital budgets.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with our management team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and success.
  • As a seasoned accountant, you will provide invaluable financial advice and support to managers and colleagues across the organization.
  • Your advanced skills in databases and spreadsheets will be essential in supporting our analysis and decision-making processes.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • AAT qualification or CCAB certification is essential.
  • You must have significant experience in an accounting role, preferably with a background in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
