We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Willingham, Cambridgeshire.

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £12.05.

Job Description:

As a Care Worker with CareTech Community Services Ltd, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to adults with challenging behaviour, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment
  • Maintaining effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting appropriate confidentiality
  • Supporting service users with daily tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and social events
  • Maintaining accurate notes and records as required
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to provide excellent care and support

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or a willingness to work towards one
  • Experience supporting adults with complex needs
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in people's lives
