About the Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health conditions in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting adults with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility
  • Engaging individuals in meaningful activities, promoting social interaction and community integration
  • Managing medication, administering first aid, and responding to emergencies
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when interacting with vulnerable individuals
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
  • A good general education, preferably with relevant qualifications
  • Previous experience in social care, ideally within adult services
