Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Winter Maintenance Driver to join our team in the Midlands. As a Winter Maintenance Driver, you will be responsible for driving a Winter Maintenance Gritting Vehicle and undertaking the gritting of roads on your allocated route.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive a Winter Maintenance Gritting Vehicle within Area 9
  • Be on standby throughout the winter maintenance season
  • Undertake the gritting of roads on your allocated route and associated activities
  • Work in a team to keep the Area 9 Network safe during the Winter season
Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (category C) entitlement and a full CPC is essential
  • A valid Winter Maintenance qualification is desirable but not essential as training will be provided for suitable applicants
  • The ability to get to Strensham or Coleshill Depot within 1 hour's notice
Package Description
