Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a benchmark for measuring the ability of AI agents on real-world data science tasks. This involves creating the interface through which AI agents interact with tasks and assisting with running experiments using baseline agents based on large language models.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants should have an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a technical field, including software engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, and data science. Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with Linux operating systems, version control systems, and computing servers are essential.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

This part-time position is fixed term until 30 September 2026. The closing date for applications is not specified, but interviews are planned for the week commencing 20 January 2025.
