About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Wirral Children & Young People's Mental Health Service 0-18 Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to children and young people.

The ideal candidate will possess a Post-graduate/doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology and have experience in conducting complex psychological assessments and interventions. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with clients and professional colleagues.

Person Specification
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society
  • HPC Registered
  • Pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology, staff training, and/or other fields of applied psychology
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct complex psychological assessments and interventions with children and young people
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide consultation and training to other professionals and non-professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service development
