We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Clinical Psychologist to join our friendly and supportive team in the Wirral Children & Young People's Mental Health Service 0-18 Team.
The successful candidate will possess a postgraduate/doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology and have experience of working with clients with a range of mental health needs.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to children and young people with mental health difficulties.
You will work closely with other professionals, including nurses, doctors, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to our service users.
We offer a range of opportunities for professional development and training, including specialist training in areas such as trauma-informed care and cognitive-behavioural therapy.
Person Specification- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- Experience of working with clients with a range of mental health needs, including those with complex and/or multiple needs.
- High-level knowledge of psychological theories and interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team, with a commitment to collaborative working.
