About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Autism Diagnostic Service as a Clinical Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the Autism Diagnostic Service
  • Work effectively within the Multi-Disciplinary Assessment Team (MDA) for autism spectrum disorders
  • Carry out complex speech, language, and communication assessments to aid diagnostic outcomes
  • Provide clinical supervision to team members
  • Develop and implement clinical governance initiatives
  • Represent Paediatric SLT at strategic level
  • Contribute to the development of the service and hold responsibility for defined projects

Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Experience of working with children with autism spectrum disorder
  • Ability to provide clinical leadership and supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
