Salary: £13.50 per hour
In this role as Senior Supported Living Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our supported living services. You will lead by example, supervise support staff, and ensure the highest quality of care is provided.
Job Description
- Enable service users to make choices and encourage their independence and social inclusion.
- Conduct team meetings with the supported living manager.
- Attend keyworker meetings and represent the service user.
- Inform the manager of any staff-related issues that may impact on the quality of the service provided.
- Report incidents, accidents, illnesses, and risks that may affect safety in accordance with procedures.
- Manage sickness absence and annual leave requests.
- Produce staff rotas, ensuring staffing levels are maintained, source staff as required, and carry out care duties as part of the rota.
- Ensure daily plans, documents, and service-specific audits are completed within a timely manner.
- Carry out observational supervision.
- Evaluate safeguarding responsibilities to protect the adults' rights to live safely and free from abuse or neglect.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Prior experience of managing or supervising staff within adult mental health, autism, or learning disabilities.
- NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent, or working towards it.
- Training in health and safety, food hygiene, first aid, and moving and handling.
- A strong team player with leadership skills, ability to motivate and lead by example.
- Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to situations.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
