Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tooling Design Engineer to join our client, a well-established specialist manufacturer in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Tooling design and commissioning, and will play a key role in helping the company achieve its growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new and existing tooling, including injection mould tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from concept to completion
  • Develop and implement design for manufacturability (DFM) principles to improve tooling efficiency
  • Work with suppliers to source and procure tooling components
  • Travel internationally to meet with suppliers and attend project meetings

Requirements

  • Relevant machinery and tooling design qualifications
  • Experience with tooling design and manufacture, including injection mould tools
  • Strong understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
