This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to be part of a small team responsible for delivering all new and existing mould tooling design, tooling improvement, and obsolescence & replacement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop injection mould tools with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless tooling design and commissioning.
  • Develop and implement design for manufacturability (DFM) principles to optimize tooling performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tooling design and manufacturing technologies.
  • Travel internationally to meet with tooling suppliers and ensure compliance with global standards.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in machinery and tooling design.
  • Proven experience in tooling design and manufacture.
  • Strong understanding of injection moulding processes and plastic injection moulding.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and manufacturing automation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
