Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated production equipment, including proof of principle rigs and fully automated production equipment.
  • Specify and design machines incorporating the latest process, inspection, and controls systems.
  • Support the commissioning, characterization, and optimization of machines.
  • Generate manuals and regulatory documentation to support UKCA/CE marking.
  • Lead a small team and provide developmental guidance and line management.
About You

To be successful, you will need a degree-level qualification in an Engineering discipline, with higher-level qualifications and progressive work experience also considered. You will also need to demonstrate a proven track record and significant experience in automated production equipment design, working alone or as part of a team.

Expertise in 3D CAD and drawing management systems is essential, with AutoDESK Inventor preferred. Proven project management experience and exposure to leading or mentoring teams are also essential.
